Freshie’s Restaurant is about, well, fresh and tasty food. It’s a tiny spot, and even though it is right on Lake Tahoe Boulevard you have to look closely to find it. A small dining room and bar is offset by a great second-story deck with a view of the lake. The food here is creative and wholesome with an emphasis on organic cuisine including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Don’t leave without trying one of the famous fish tacos. They also have a wonderful selection of craft beers and fine wines. For the internet crowd, Freshies even offers a webcam that live streams the waiting area so you can see how long of a line there is to get in.
