If you're looking to camp as close as possible to Tahoe City, then this is the place for you – a campground with 23 sites, all with bear bins, grills, picnic tables and fire pits. This is a smaller campground, making it unsuitable for large RVs or trailers. This campground is best for tents or small campers as there are no hook-ups or dump stations. There are hot showers as well as potable water for guests. The campground is directly on Tahoe's shore, making it simple to access the lake as well as the bike path that encircles the north and west shorelines. Dogs are allowed if on a leash and with the owner at all times. The campground is only open in the summer from May to September.
