The six Tahoe Dave's locations are the place to go for all of your winter needs. The first store opened in 1977. Tahoe Dave's boasts of having the largest selection of rental and demo equipment for skiing and snowboarding on the North Shore and Truckee, including snowshoes, cross-country gear and clothing for the entire family. They also have gear for sale and will tune up your equipment. The Kings Beach and Olympic Valley locations close when the snow melts. The Tahoe City and Truckee stores become your headquarters for everything you need for the beach – clothing, water toys, sunglasses and assorted other accessories. Beyond their well-stocked merchandise, Tahoe Dave's team members have plenty of advice about the area and can provide assistance with mechanical issues.
