High Camp at Squaw Valley is a conglomeration of various activities and dining and drinking opportunities. This is the home of the Olympic Ice Pavilion, an Olympic-size ice rink that doubles as a roller-skating rink in the summer. It is also home to the Olympic Museum, a gathering of appreciation for the 1960 Olympic Winter Games in Squaw Valley. For skiers and snowboarders this is both a launching pad for beginners and an easy way to access the upper lifts for those beyond the bunny slopes. In summer High Camp offers a great starting point for higher-elevation hikes, mountain biking, swimming and tennis. High Camp is at the top of the tram.
