Here's your excuse to go golfing this week! We are proud to participate in the @laketahoegc Lake Tahoe Golf Course's American Golf Foundation Ambassador program from August 15 - 21. We're fundraising to support the Foundation and Tahoe California State Parks through a fun on-course challenge. Golfers like you make nominal $1-$10 donations and participate in the par-3 fundraising contest! So stop by South Lake Tahoe and take a swing at it 🏌️

Last year's BIG BLUEgrass Benefit Concert was truly a magical event. From multigenerational families reconnecting and dancing, to smoking good BBQ and crisp drinks on the lawn while listening to the live music, it was fun to see the park so alive and energetic. 🪕🪕🪄🪄BIG BLUEgrass returns Friday, August 1st at Sugar Pine Point State Park! 🌸Lake Tahoe’s Underwater Wonders: Exploring Tsunami-Built Boulder Ridges, June 12 at 1 pm: A live, virtual program where you can dive with State Park Interpreters to learn about tsunami-generated boulder ridges under Lake Tahoe's surface. Pre-registration is required.

🌸Old-Growth Forest Celebration, June 12: Sugar Pine Point State Park's old growth forest is being inducted into the Old-Growth Forest Network. Celebrate with a guided nature walk to see those old giants.

🌸Howdy Neighbor! Open House, June 14: A free, fun-filled day of family-friendly activities and park exploration at Sugar Pine Point State Park!

🌸Guided Birding Walk, June 15: Take a guided walk with a knowledgeable birding enthusiast at Washoe Meadows State Park.
