Snowfest Extravaganza

Celebrate 42 years of winter enchantment at North Lake Tahoe's Snowfest, a premier winter mountain festival. This annual spectacle illuminates the unique connections between the North Lake Tahoe community and its cherished visitors. Beyond the festivities, Snowfest holds a vital mission to bolster local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations and scholarships throughout its distinctive 10-day celebration. This event is not just about entertainment; it's a heartfelt commitment to the community's well-being. This fantastic affair runs February 29 through March 10 and includes 40 mountain-town events happening in both Tahoe City and Kings Beach.
Tahoe City Dog Pull
When: March 3
Where: Pete 'n Peters Sports & Spirits, Tahoe City
Pete 'n Peters Sports & Spirits presents the Tahoe City Dog Pull, a live event that fuses the thrill of a snow run with the strength of our four-legged friends. On Sunday, March 3 from 11 am to 12 pm, witness dogs pulling weights determined by their size in the fenced-and-staked-in snowy arena. Prizes await winners in each weight class and division. Secure your spot by pre-registering for the event.

Alex Ramon "Magic"
When: Almost nightly through March 9
Where: Harveys Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe
Prepare to be spellbound as Alex Ramon, the internationally acclaimed magician, takes center stage at Harveys Lake Tahoe. With a spellbinding show that has left millions in awe worldwide, Alex's performances have been hailed as "mystifying" by The New York Times and "mind-bending" by the Los Angeles Times. The show runs almost nightly from January until Saturday, March 9. Tickets are $48 for general admission. Be sure to register for your tickets prior to the chosen event.
Team Whiskey Bonanza
When: March 30
Where: Tahoe Blue Event Center, Stateline
March 30 marks the date for Team Whiskey Bonanza, one of the largest Whiskey and Outdoor Sports Events globally. From 12 to 9 pm, immerse yourself in a day filled with archery, rifle instruction, fishing, rodeo riding bull, climbing walls and more. The whole family is invited, with free admission for ages 1 to 12 and a nominal fee of $20 for ages 13 to 18. Adult tickets include whiskey and food samples, a Team Whiskey glass and a shopping bag. Enjoy live music, outdoor sports films, kids' activities and the headline act, The North 40 Band.
