There are a number of restaurants in South Tahoe offering fresh, wholesome food that also happens to be great tasting, and this is one of them. Verde Mexican Rotisserie puts a healthy spin on Mexican favorites with natural ingredients, meats free of antibiotics and hormones and produce that is locally sourced. Salads, tortas, quesadillas, burritos and tacos make up the menu. Two other items that are worth a try are the whole rotisserie chicken and the Paleo Plate. Verde has two locations: in Meyers just a little west of the intersection of Pioneer Trail and U.S. Highway 50 and in the South Y shopping center.
