Artist David Hwang creates paintings in a wide variety of media, but the most spectacular pieces are perhaps his watercolors depicting different Tahoe Basin and high Sierra scenes. His wife, Connie, is an accomplished artist as well, known for her popular water droplet paintings. Original works by both can be found in their Sun Art Gallery in the Village Center. Painting together since 1986, the couple relocated to Tahoe more than a decade ago and now work daily in the gallery studio, where visitors and collectors can visit with them and even observe them in their creative process. In addition to their works of art, the studio also showcases other artisans from around the basin.
