The Ski Renter

For some people, renting snow gear is a business. For others, it's a way of life. The guys at the Ski Renter are the latter type. Renting out a complete line of equipment for winter sports for visitors at all levels of experience is their way of celebrating the mountain and sharing their passion with the world. They provide demo skis and snowboard boots, helmets, clothing, snowshoes and kids' gear. The Ski Renter lets you get your rentals the afternoon before your day on the slopes and offers discounted lift tickets, free hot wax and rental reservations. You'll find the Ski Renter at three locations. Two are on Ski Run (one goes under the name of South Tahoe Ski & Board) and one is at Strawberry Lodge near Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort.
