Primo's Italian Bistro

Jim Primo’s Tahoe restaurant is the continuation of a family tradition, one that began with the first Primo’s in Boston in the ‘60s. The local Primo’s Italian Bistro makes its sauces, pastas and desserts in house, prepares each dish to order and uses only organic, free-range chicken. Primo’s is on the main boulevard as it nears the Y coming from the east, and to call it a bistro is pretty accurate. The restaurant isn’t huge, but it's just right for a nice lunch or dinner, and there is a full bar available. The food outshines the atmosphere, and the menu includes pizza, soups and salads and what Jim says are southern Italian classics with northern specialties.
