Mandarin Garden

Mandarin Garden is a small restaurant on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, not far from where what's left of the Upper Truckee River as meanders its way into Lake Tahoe. The weather-beaten exterior belies a bright, clean dining area and overall friendly atmosphere inside. The fare is the standard Chinese food offerings that one would expect to find at a location that is neither fast food nor fine dining, and there is a nice selection of spicy dishes on the menu. The Hot and Sour Soup is a favorite, and the Chow Fun dishes, wide rice noodles with different meats, are also very popular here. Your meal from Mandarin Garden will have to be either dine-in or take-out because the restaurant does not offer delivery.
