The Easter Bunny is making plans to hop into town, which means it’s officially basket-stocking season. Skip the grocery store scramble and head into Tahoe House Bakery for the good stuff. Fresh pastries, sweet treats, and all the little extras that somehow disappear before Sunday morning. Consider this your excuse to grab one for the basket and one for quality control.

Second Fridays continue with 80s Retro Day on this Friday, March 13 in Tahoe City, West Shore Lake Tahoe, and Alpine Meadows — bringing throwback fun, themed entertainment, activities, specials, and more.

From retro ski vibes and pop-up events to live music, costume contests, shopping specials, happy hours, and family-friendly activities, there are plenty of ways to celebrate all things 80s. Whether you’re planning a daytime stroll downtown or heading out for an evening of neon and nostalgia, local businesses will be joining in all day long.

Join us at Tahoe City Winter Sports Park for one of our favorite SNOWFEST nights. Live music starts at 5:30 p.m. with local favorites The NOMADS, plus food and drinks from Café Zenon. Then bundle up and look to the sky as fireworks light up the North Shore straight from the snow.

The Tahoe City Parade you know and love is now the Tahoe City SNOWFEST Street Faire. North Lake Boulevard becomes a walk-through street party filled with colorful floats, interactive booths, performances, and plenty of Tahoe Mardi Gras flair.

Take TART, skip the parking hassle, and come celebrate winter, community, and SNOWFEST—Tahoe style.
