Our goal in offering these summits to the community is to see life from a spiritual perspective, which can bring healing to physical, mental and relationship issues. In these talks, listeners are challenged to question the status quo of the inevitability of mental and physical disease, age, and decline. Through a deeper understanding of God, all can realize innate freedom and health. The speakers will present ideas based on the Bible and the teachings of the Discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. As we open our thought, we discover infinite possibilities that can bring solutions to life’s problems.

The Taylor Creek Visitor Center serves as the informational gateway to outdoor recreation experiences in the Tahoe Basin and as an interpretative center for local flora, fauna, and human and natural history. Since 1964, the USDA Forest Service and its partners have seasonally operated the site to promote education, recreation and environmental stewardship. Visitor services typically start around Memorial Day and end in October; however, the grounds remain accessible throughout the year for winter recreation.

Professional Life Coach teaching Communication Workshops and Restorative Practices in the community. "As a professional coach, trainer and consultant, I have been using Restorative Practices and Non-Violent Communication to support communities, businesses, families and individuals since 2012. All communication, even when uncomfortable and difficult, is an opportunity to learn about the self and others, to grow as a compassionate being.  Communication is a chance to create trust and deepen connection in relationships.  When you have clarity about what matters most to you, and are able to express yourself with compassion and respect for others and yourself, magic happens. Together I work with my clients to communicate with clarity, compassion, meaning, purpose, willingness, and to develop the capacity to listen to others even when their message is hard to hear."

Al-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

Truckee elementary PTO is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of children at Truckee elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers and community.
