The Performing Arts Booster Association (PABA) was created by volunteer parents to provide support to students and staff of the performing and visual arts at STHS. PABA supports over 600 students enriching their high school experience with theater, music, digital media arts & visual art. Help support the Arts at South Tahoe High School by becoming a member. 

James Rawie's Tahoe Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus is a non-profit organization striving to provide the community of Reno and Tahoe superior musical experiences and programs. At Tahoe Philharmonic we offer each musician the opportunity to play and sing challenging choral classical music alongside other locals who share the same desire. Awaken your musical senses at Tahoe Philharmonic. 

Our goal in offering these summits to the community is to see life from a spiritual perspective, which can bring healing to physical, mental and relationship issues. In these talks, listeners are challenged to question the status quo of the inevitability of mental and physical disease, age, and decline. Through a deeper understanding of God, all can realize innate freedom and health. The speakers will present ideas based on the Bible and the teachings of the Discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. As we open our thought, we discover infinite possibilities that can bring solutions to life’s problems.

Al-Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. By sharing common experiences and applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

We are a community-wide coalition formed in January 2010, comprised of diverse volunteers from at least 12 different sectors working together to prevent youth substance abuse. Sectors include youth, parents, faith, schools, youth serving organizations, law enforcement, business, civic, government, health care, media, and other treatment professionals.
