Each week in Truckee, locals, residents and participants alike come together to celebrate all things local. Live music, vendors, a beer garden, street fair and kids' area bring the historic downtown to life on Thursdays from 5 to 8:30 p.m. from June through August, excluding national holidays. Vendors include artisans, retailers, nonprofit groups and food trucks. There’s also a Certified Farmer’s Market where you check out fresh produce, locally sourced dairy products and much more. Stroll the streets of historic Truckee and browse all the offerings. Befriend your fellow market-goers, and talk with the farmer’s market vendors about the origin and production of their wares. Dance in the street to the live music that fills the air – it’s a good time for all. Truckee Thursday connects participants, vendors, the products and the area together to encourage an appreciation for local life.
