Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Boat Launch

Tahoe Vista Recreation Area is a beach area that offers free public access. Complete with picnic tables, public bathrooms, a sheltered boat launching ramp, the 2.7-acre property offers 800 feet of sandy and rocky shoreline ready to entertain families and others who want to absorb the beauty of Lake Tahoe. No open flames or charcoal grills allowed; propane grills are permitted except on Red Flag days.There are kayak and paddleboard rentals as well as kayak tours available. Groups of more than 20 must obtain a permit.
