Lake Tahoe Dance Collective is a dance company and school that promotes top-quality classical, modern and contemporary dance throughout the Lake Tahoe area through education, outreach and performances. Throughout the year their company presents a range of performances as well as invites visiting dance companies to perform in the Tahoe region. The collective also presents the annual Lake Tahoe Dance Festival. The school offers dance instruction to all levels of students in a variety of disciplines.

Action Water Sports was created in 1996 with the goal of helping people of all ages have fun on Lake Tahoe. One of the best ways to do that is with a catamaran cruise. Two-hour tours on their 55 foot catamaran Sierra Cloud, sailing out of Carnelian Bay, are offered three times daily, plus there's a mimosa cruise on the weekends.
