Although it is called both a brewery and restaurant, Sidellis Lake Tahoe feels more like a craft-brew showcase that also happens to serve some food. The list of brews reads like a profile of the business, including one named after the bar that used to be here (Bitter Creek Pale Ale), one named after the pub's mascot and guard dog (Hanzo Hefeweizen) and one that references the bureaucratic trials of opening a new business (Brewocracy "Red Tape" IPA). On the food side of things, Sidellis serves appetizers (try something with the house-made beer cheese), salads and sausages, but the bulk of the menu is a wide selection of sandwiches. For the kids there are cheese quesadillas, and for dessert there is an offering of a hot chocolate-chip cookie with ice cream.
