The Resort at Squaw Creek is a one-stop shop for outdoor recreation in the Squaw Valley area. The hotel offers high-end rooms that either look out at the mountain or to the forest behind the resort. The property resides on a full 18-hole golf course and fly-fishing arena in the summer, and it transforms into a cross-country skiing and dog-sledding activity area in the winter. A few of the rooms have ski-in/ski-out privileges with their patios a few feet from the Squaw Creek chair lift that accesses the ski area. The resort gives guests three options for dining. Their bar, Sandy’s Pub, is known for being excellent for watching your favorite game. The medium-range restaurant, Cascades, provides a buffet-style breakfast as well as a nice setting for private dinners with its large windows showing off the views of the mountains and golf course. The fanciest of their restaurants is Six Peaks, offering fine-dining California cuisine and a full bar. The resort provides extracurricular activities perfect for the entire family, such as bike and ski rentals, Movie Night and S'mores Night, and is fully set up for any business-conference needs. The resort closes down for two weeks in November, usually the two weeks prior to Thanksgiving.
