As the marquee restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe, Manzanita is a feast for both the palette and the eyes. The California-inspired cuisine is fused with flavors from around the world, while the surrounding mountains, which are easily seen through huge windows, inspire the decor. There are several ways to experience the menu at Manzanita beyond the well-appointed dining room. There is the Chef’s Table, where up to eight diners share a private table while the chef prepares a tasting menu. The Chef’s Tasting Counter accommodates up to six guests sitting next to the open kitchen with the chef preparing tapas-style plates. Manzanita serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner with the latter featuring seasonal specials. The wine list is vast with more than 500 varietals from Northern California and around the world. For larger groups and events, Manzanita features a private dining room and a heated terrace setting.
