Back in the day there was an itty-bitty casino tucked between Harrah’s and what was then Caesars Tahoe, and it sat diagonally across the street from what was the Horizon. This little casino was called Bill’s, a tribute to Nevada gaming pioneer, Bill Harrah. A lot of things have changed since then — Caesars became Mont Bleu and is now Bally's, the Horizon was the Hard Rock and is now Golden Nugget, and that little casino is now a 24-hour eatery known as Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger. It has takes burgers to new heights with a specialty blend of beef. The endeavor has proven so popular that the owners have opened a second location in Reno. Other menu items are also pretty high-end, from the sides and salads to the Pat LaFrieda steaks. You'll enjoy a nice selection of beer and wine too.
