When it comes to creating a healthy and happy community, education is a fundamental aspect to the foundation of that reality. That is why events such as Rotary Incline's Best Ball for a Cause is such a wonderful way to show support while basking in the beauty of Lake Tahoe. This all-abilities-friendly golf tournament happens at Incline Village Mountain Course and is a day of enjoyment that brings together four-person teams in a scramble format, all to benefit Incline Village education and youth programs. The tournament offers an outstanding course and fantastic food that is provided by a local chef. There is a silent auction to help up the fun meter, including a wine raffle. There is also the infamous Putt for Wine that tests your aim as you try to hit a bottle of wine of your choice. To increase your ability to help, there are sponsorship programs available in many different forms, making it easy to get involved even if you don't consider yourself a golfer. The event happens in late September.
