Cutthroat’s Saloon is housed in a faux silver mine just off the casino floor in the Hyatt Lake Tahoe. It’s a touch of the Old West without the gunfighters. Wooden beams shore up the walls and ceiling, and it’s dim interior is lit with flickering hurricane lamps. You won’t find any precious metals in here, though, just autographed dollar bills tacked to the walls and ceiling. The California cuisine is mostly appetizers and sandwiches with a few pizzas and larger plates. Check out the Blistered Shishito Peppers, Smoked Brisket Chili or Wagyu Burger. You’ll find a great selection of craft beers and fancy cocktails served in jars. A bank of TVs lines the wall above the long wooden bar for those needing to get their sports fix. This place can get loud, so be prepared to yell if you want to have a conversation. For a taste of the Wild West, get your spurs and get on down to Cutthroat’s Saloon.
