Join Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner for a classy evening of wining and dining. Each year wineries, breweries and restaurants bring their best offerings to the beautiful backdrop of Coyote Moon Golf Course. Come on out to taste restaurant chefs’ favorite dishes, complemented by a glass of wine from a local winery. Maybe you’ve seen various wines from the area while out shopping but never knew which one to choose. This wine tasting is an excellent way to sample a selection of them and decide which ones are your favorites before buying a bottle. In between sipping and sampling, you can cast bids on the items that catch your eye at the auction. The proceeds from this event all benefit Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, which funds scholarship and education programs and promotes social development in the area. And don’t forget that it’s a better deal to purchase tickets in advance for the Wine and Restaurant Faire rather than the day of, so keep that in mind while planning. This Lake Tahoe annual event takes place in early June.
