Get ready to rock, roll and run your way around South Lake Tahoe with the Rock Tahoe Half Marathon. This event is hosted by Lake Tahoe’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, so you know there won’t be anything less than exciting about this run. The half marathon begins at Spooner Summit, and the participants make their way to the finish line at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. During the run you’ll get a full taste of Tahoe as you pass Round Hill Pines, through Cave Rock and by Logan Shoals, giving you beach, lake and mountain scenery. On such a beautiful course, the anticipation for the next breathtaking view will motivate you to go even faster! After passing the finish line, you get to celebrate with your fellow runners with an after party hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, so party on! This annual Lake Tahoe event usually takes place in mid-June. It’s known to sell out in advance, so plan ahead.
