The Lake Tahoe Marathon+ is a multi-day event each October that challenges athletes of all levels. The course weaves its way around the lake through highlights including Emerald Bay, Camp Richardson and South Lake Tahoe, finishing up at Stateline. Runners also have the options of the downhill Nevada Half Marathon, the Cal-Neva Marathon, Carnelian Bay Half Marathon and the Emerald Bay Half Marathon. For those looking to go above and beyond, try the Midnight Express 72-mile Ultra, the Four-Person Marathon Relay, the 16.4 Miler, the Edgewood 10K, the Super Hero 5K (costumes encouraged) and kids 10 and younger can race in the free Pumpkin Run.
