At our core, we dig trail. Our roots are in trails and bikeways advocacy — ensuring critical, town-wide bicycling infrastructure that our community embraces year-round. Over time, our connections to local agencies and community partners have led us to become the go-to dirt trail builders in the Truckee region as well.

Truckee Trails Foundation maintains 180 miles of non-motorized trail and we build NEW trails, too — both trails designed and managed for mountain biking, hiking trails, nature loops, and even trails for those with adaptive needs. In the last five years alone, Truckee Trails Foundation's crew has built 20 miles of new trail, including major mountain bike and hiking trail development in the Sawtooth and Waddle Ranch areas.

We’re here to keep Truckee's system of trials sustainable and growing, working to ensure there’s something for everyone because we know you dig trail, too.
