Cycle through the spring meadows and historic ranching communities of one of the Sierra Nevada’s most beautiful high valleys during the Tour de Manure. The tour includes three scenic routes: Metric Century (62 miles) loop, a 42-mile loop, and a 30-mile out-and-back. What's more fun, the ride or the party afterward? Hard to say! A delicious meal is offered up to the well-wheeled crowd while live music puts a spark in your giddy-up. Our trained volunteers provide quick emergency medical and fire service to residents and visitors of the western Sierra Valley region. The Tour de Manure is the department's major fundraising event, and proceeds support training and equipment expenses.
