On the banks of the Upper Truckee River is one of Tahoe's little-known gems. Away from the crowds and traffic, Tahoe Paradise Park offers many outdoor activities and events. Lake Baron, the heart of the upper park area, provides great fishing spots and calm water for paddle boarding or kayaking and hosts lakefront weddings by the infamous 1000-year-old Juniper tree. Find your game at the tennis courts or enjoy live music and events held at the Clubhouse with beach access. The lower park area, along the banks of the Upper Truckee River, holds the playground, disc golf course and a large picnic area. Find numerous hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the park. Any of the upper or lower areas can be reserved for your wedding or event. The park is administered by the Tahoe Paradise Recreation & Park District.
