SISLT strives to create a world where all women and youth worldwide have equal opportunity and access to all resources, such as financial, health and education, and are fully empowered to reach their optimum potential and prosperity.
Locally, Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe is well-known for its annual “An Evening of Food and Wine Tasting” fundraiser.
Soroptimist International is also deeply involved in ongoing service to the community through educational scholarships that benefit young women and men from South Tahoe High School, George Whittell High School, Lake Tahoe Community College and the Lake Tahoe Fire Academy.
