In 2021, Bridjet Orr took over the operation of the Ski Run Farmers Market which runs every Friday afternoon in the summer. Bridjet and Joey Orr have been Directors for the USASA South Tahoe Series for the last six years operating the amateur ski and snowboard events out of Sierra at Tahoe. Having a love of the South Tahoe community and wanting to help bring the Ski Run Farmers Market back, Bridjet has used her community passion to continue what was started many years ago. The Ski Run Farmers Market, a certified organic market, has a great mix of organic farmers, packaged foods, hot food, artists, bakers, jewelers, coffee, woodwork, crafts and music. The market highlights and promotes the local business owners while bringing the community together.
