The Pioneer Cocktail Club is a craft cocktail bar that offers fine dining ingredients in a casual setting. With food ranging from wood fired pizzas to an oven roasted chicken. Our cocktails include artisanal spirits and all fresh juices and house made syrups. Although our offerings are of high quality, we are a perfect setting for those who just out of the lake or off the slopes. Our farm to table menu is just what skiers and campers would want after a long day of playing hard.
The decor of The Pioneer is minimal and rustic, focusing on all the Sierras have to offer and looks to reflect the simple beauty of the mountains and the lake. Our patio is perfect for people watching and catching views of the lake across the street.
There are two owner operators, Savren Thompson and Brian Nelson. They met working in fine dining restaurants and craft cocktail bars. They have managed and championed many wonderful locations in San Francisco as a team and separately. Although they love that big city, they found a desire to go back to their roots and be around nature again and enjoy a smaller community, which brought them to Tahoe. They drove around the Lake periodically for two years, until they finally found this perfect location to bring their vision to life.
