Futures in Aerospace
Career opportunities exist in the aviation industry, however it’s difficult for employers to find ideal local talent. It’s just as challenging for job seekers to find and secure rewarding jobs. The Futures in Aerospace program is designed to create opportunities for both job seekers and employers.
Launched in early 2017, the Futures in Aerospace program has worked closely with hundreds of young people. Providing college and career planning resources and connections results in internships offered, part/full-time jobs filled, students enrolling in colleges and trade schools, many resumes reviewed, and hundreds of new professional connections.
Pathways Days
The program provides exceptional learning experiences, where students receive increased time to learn about aviation by…
- Conducting a field trip to a nearby airport or aviation business. Students take tours, participate in classes and hands-on activities, and meet aviation experts.
- Hosting aviation experiences or presentations at school grounds.
The program allows us to design experiences to blend with teacher curriculums, classroom instruction, and their overall educational schedule.
