Emily received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from California State University in 2011 with an academic concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) studies. Since graduation, her main area of practice has been in emergency medicine. She also has several years experience in primary care and urgent medicine.
Emily is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Indiana University in 2001 and worked for 10 years as a RN in a variety of settings with most of her experience in the emergency department and critical care ground and air transport.
Emily relocated to Incline Village in September 2021 with the desire to incorporate more preventative and integrative medicine into her daily practice while still utilizing her emergency medicine, urgent care, and primary care knowledge. Thus, the plan to open her own healthcare business was born and High Sierra House Calls was established in November 2021.
