The CVAA is one of the oldest art groups located in Northern Nevada – 54 years! The artists are interested in working in various mediums ~ watercolor, acrylics, oil, pastel, pen and ink, pencil, gourd art, and pottery. We also share and sell our work in local shows sponsored by the Association.
The objective of the association is to develop a high standard of art amongst our members, promote an appreciation of the Arts in Douglas County and the surrounding area, present to the public the best work of its members in various exhibits, and to encourage the young artists in the area to participate in art shows hosted by the CVAA.
