Dear Colleagues, Clients, Friends & Family - My husband Tim and I are excited to share more about Achieve Tahoe, a local non-profit that we are actively involved in throughout the year. Their mission is to provide life-changing experiences for children and adults with disabilities, which is a cause near and dear to our hearts. ❤️?
My brother Brent (otherwise known as "B") is autistic and grew up skiing with Achieve Tahoe. My family spent many, many winter weekends driving up from the Bay Area to ski at Alpine Meadows. I have fond memories of dropping off B at ski school, while my twin brother and I went to our own ski lessons.
Because of Achieve Tahoe, B was given a sense of independence and freedom all while building confidence on those slopes. That feeling of independence and confidence is our "why" for giving back - we want others to experience those same feelings.
We're honored to be part of an organization like Achieve Tahoe that gives people with disabilities the chance to enjoy the outdoors in Lake Tahoe! Join us in donating to their annual Ability Challenge fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $25,000. With your support, Achieve Tahoe will be able to support more year-round programming.
