Tahoe Things to Do: Bowling

Set ‘em up, knock ‘em down – describes bowling pretty well, right? While it’s not a hugely popular thing to do in Tahoe, the two alleys here do good business and are fun places to hang out. You’ll find bowling in South Lake Tahoe and in Incline. The South Lake Tahoe bowling alley has been in business since 1959, so you know there are loyal enthusiasts here! Both businesses offer 16 all-wooden lanes, bumpers for the kids or novices, lightweight balls and pro shops. In Incline, you can also play pool, arcades, video games, air hockey and pinball, work on your golf game in their simulator and hit the sports bar afterward for a cool one. The South Lake Tahoe bowling alley offers a diner and a sports bar. Both places are great spots for birthday parties or other gatherings. If you’re new to the sport, ask about lessons. When you’re here and the snow has just gotten to be too much, head to the Incline or South Lake Tahoe bowling alleys and have a ball! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)
