For thirty years now, in over four thousand performances from Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City to Leningrad University in Russia, McAvoy Layne has been preeminent in preserving the wit & wisdom of, “The Wild Humorist of the Pacific Slope,” Mark Twain.

McAvoy is a winner of the Nevada Award for Excellence in School and Library Service, and author of the newly published, Huck Finally Graduates!  Mac plays the ghost of Samuel Clemens in the Biography Channel’s episode of Mark Twain, and in the Discovery Channel’s Cronkite Award winning documentary, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Lake Tahoe Corvette Club (LTCC) was formed in 1989 by a group of Corvette enthusiasts from the Lake Tahoe and greater Carson Valley area, all of whom shared an interest in an American heritage: The Chevrolet Corvette. We are a social club with a passion for Corvettes.  From March through November we meet on the first Tuesday of every month at a local restaurant in the Carson City area.

METAvivor exists to sustain hope for those living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer (MBC). We are a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that funds vital research to help improve the longevity and quality of life for MBC patients. Passionately committed patients ourselves, we rally public attention to the urgent needs of the MBC community, help patients find strength through support and purpose, and make every dollar count as we work with researchers to extend and improve quality of life for MBC patients.

Mountain Workspace is a coworking community in Incline Village, featuring private offices, dedicated workstations, open workspace and conference rooms for rent.

Our goal is to suit the needs of the community by providing a location to work for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote employees and anyone needing a place to set up shop for the day, week, month or longer.
