WinterWonderGrass Festival wants to change how you experience live music. The goal of this Lake Tahoe annual event is to bring together original music with North Lake Tahoe’s sporty lifestyle and its majestic, snowy wilderness. Local and national musicians come to this three-day festival to jam to bluegrass and acoustic roots music. Bluegrass lovers can show up for one day of the event or get a pass for all the shows. During the day, bands perform on the outdoor stage at the base of Palisades Tahoe, and select musicians visit local venues at night to play in more intimate settings. This annual event wants to connect people with their location, and food is used as the conduit to do so. In addition to music, you’ll enjoy craft beers and wines from local breweries and wineries and sample locally sourced food. Children are welcome and encouraged to enjoy activities at the bustling Kids Zone. All festival goers younger than 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times. The event also places a strong emphasis on sustainability, whether it’s for your lifestyle or the environment. If you want exposure to great music and a rich taste of Lake Tahoe’s culture, mark your calendars for early April and get ready for the WinterWonderGrass Festival. Tickets and festival passes can be purchased on the event's website.
