If there is a way to blend New York and Lake Tahoe, Vinny's Pizzeria has done it. These are delicious New York–style pies made to satisfy the hunger that hits you after a day of high-altitude activity. The dough and sauces are made in-house, and the meats come from South Lake Tahoe's own Overland Meats. The submarine sandwich breads are from nearby Truckee Sourdough. In addition to house specialty pizzas and build-your-own pizzas, the menu includes pasta dinners, sub sandwiches, calzones, salads and more. Vinny's is located right where Pioneer Trail meets Lake Tahoe Boulevard next to the Naked Fish restaurant.
