Get rowdy and dirty with the future of off-road gravel biking. The Truckee Dirt Fondo Cycling is a three-day event that brings cycling, music, food and fun to Truckee, and it’s all in the name of a good cause. Competitors have their choice of three different routes that let them tour the Tahoe area in stints of 26-mile, 58-mile or 67-mile courses. The event opens with a fundraising gala on the first evening, continues with a day of registration and family-friendly activities, and once all the participants have registered, the next day of event runs all of the races and features a family-oriented festival. With food trucks, Tahoe beers, local vendors and live music from the area’s musicians, it’s wholesome and riveting fun that’s free and open to all – both participants and spectators. This annual event usually takes place during the first weekend in June.
