Truckee Tahoe Gravel

Get rowdy and dirty with off-road gravel biking. The Truckee Dirt Fondo features three distances from 30 to more than 100 miles. Competitors will travel along relatively well-maintained gravel and dirt roads, with some pavement interspersed and even a smattering of single track at the end. You can actually make this a four-day event. It starts with a course talk on Thursday; Friday includes a warm-up ride and the expo in the afternoon; Saturday is the main event, which besides the ride includes a festival during the day and awards ceremony; while Sunday is a cool-down recovery ride. This annual event usually takes place in late June.
