Zephyr Cove Resort is a true beach and mountain retreat with all that the label suggests. As a place to stay, it offers lodge rooms, individual cabins and an RV park. Dining is available at the historic Zephyr Cove Restaurant or at the Sunset Bar & Grille in the warmer months. The beach part of the resort is the Zephyr Cove Beach, a long stretch of sand and fun at one of the most beautiful areas of the lake with watercraft rentals, parasailing and even buoy rentals where you can moor up with your boat. The Z.C. Resort is where the paddlewheeler boat cruises launch from, and chartered lake fishing excursions are also available. For the mountain side of things, the resort has a fleet of more than 100 snowmobiles for tours with more than 45 miles of trail to explore. The horse stables offer one-hour and two-hour guided trail rides into the forests of the Tahoe Basin. Both the snowmobile and horseback riding are seasonal offerings.
