Music on the Beach is Kings Beach's offering of free outdoor live music from late June through August. Held at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area each Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the concert series highlights local and regional bands, and the environment is great for families. Beer, wine, nonalcoholic drinks and food are available to purchase until 9 p.m. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on if so desired.

Action Water Sports was created in 1996 with the goal of helping people of all ages have fun on Lake Tahoe. One of the best ways to do that is with a catamaran cruise. Two-hour tours on their 55' catamaran Sierra Cloud, sailing out of Tahoe Vista, are offered three times daily, plus there's a Mimosa Cruise on the weekends.
