Given that Lake Tahoe doesn't actually freeze over in the winter, ice sports have not gotten the same attention here that the snow sports have. But fun on frozen water exists here nonetheless, and one example is curling at the City of South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena. Lake Tahoe Epic Curling meets most Sunday evenings for a large part of the year, and you should check their calendar for the occasional training sessions. In addition to the regular meet-ups, the trainings and the newly formed league play, LTEC can provide private group curling opportunities and curling events for corporate get-togethers, family reunions, parties or any other sort of gathering.
