Tahoe Bat Yam is a Jewish congregation serving the South Shore of Lake Tahoe and the Carson Valley. In addition to a Hebrew School program and a schedule of regular services, TBY offers wedding services for members and nonmembers. Rabbi Evon Yakar is a trained Prepare Enrich facilitator, and his services include premarital counseling sessions. He works with each couple to craft a unique wedding ceremony that typically includes Jewish traditions and is personalized to the couple, based on their time spent with the Rabbi. He also creates a special Ketubah signing ceremony that takes place immediately prior to the wedding. The wedding service can take place at the South Shore, within the Tahoe Basin or anywhere in the surrounding region.
