For those who enjoy the serenity of paddleboarding Lake Tahoe, there is a series of community get-togethers that are worthy of your attention. The Tahoe Paddle Racing Series is a succession of four different opportunities for people to enjoy the fun, exhilaration and balancing prowess that comes with paddleboarding. An event series that enjoys more than a decade of action, the series offers options for both the recreational paddler and those who enjoy the competition of racing. Their races include Stand Up Paddleboarding, Prone Paddleboarding and OCI class races. Events are held in June, August and September on both Lake Tahoe and Donner Lake. The events are family friendly and are wonderful occasions for being a spectator. To make this event series that much better, all of the proceeds assist the Lake Tahoe Waterman Association.
