With the holiday season quickly approaching, it’s easy to think about what you’ll give your family, your friends and, let’s be honest, probably a little something for your dog too. It’s even easier, though, to give back to your community. The Tahoe City Holiday Hop gives you an opportunity to do so by shopping at local, independently owned businesses and shops. This Lake Tahoe annual event is held on the final Saturday in November, when businesses invite you to step inside for a bit of browsing. Participating shops offer wine, snacks, festive decorations and holiday cheer. There are also raffles and contests for the chance to win prizes. Take the kids with you so that they can have their picture taken with Santa Claus.
