Grab your paddleboard and your lei and come out for the Ta-Hoe Nalu Paddleboard Festival. This three-day paddling event celebrates the world’s original SUP race by holding a series of paddling races, clinics, demos and other fun activities. The races range from 2-mile courses to 10-mile ones, sprints and even events just for kids. Registration for the races is held each morning, and after the events participants get to enjoy the awards ceremonies and the free demos and guided paddle trips offered by paddling professionals that cater to levels ranging from beginner to advanced. This Lake Tahoe annual event also includes a village with live music, food vendors and equipment exhibitions. The festival starts in the early morning and continues to late afternoon each day. Come for one event or stay for the weekend. This Lake Tahoe annual event is held in mid-August and takes place at Kings Beach State Park.
