Surf Air has been dubbed the Netflix of the Skies because it has a similar business model, even if it is in an entirely different sort of business. Surf Air members pay a monthly membership fee and then enjoy unlimited private flights. The company runs up to 90 flights daily, most of them back and forth between Northern and Southern California, but with two different Bay Area routes to the Truckee airport on the menu as well. Unlike chartered flights, Surf Air flights run on established schedules, but unlike commercial airlines, members enjoy flights that cater to them much like a private jet service, all for a flat fee.
