If you're in Palisades Tahoe in summer and would like to enjoy a little roller skating, then check out the Olympic-size former ice rink at High Camp, located at the top of the cable car. The tram (or cable car, as it can be called) takes you swiftly to High Camp, where the Olympic Ice Pavilion and rentals await you. The rink is available for group rental. The open hours vary, so it is highly advised to contact Squaw Valley to learn more before venturing out to skate.
